As we all are aware that approximately 5% material is left back in the form of slag in Induction/Arc Melting Furnace Pots. Till today, the Furnace owner have been paying something from their pocket to lift Slag from their works and dispose it off. This Slag included around 15% of Steel Scrap Chips, which were extracted by breaking the Slag manually through hammers & separating the chips left wasted with Slag. In the present Scenario of Economic Competence how can one think of such handsome losses, which can be recovered easily?
SMT is pleased to introduce a semi-automatic system of crushing the Waste Steel Scrap Chips (Slag) in the form of small grains. It consists of removing dust from these grains and then separating the chips by means of magnetic chips separating machines. Finally, these chips are meshed in ball mill, which assure that not even a single chip of steel is left behind in the slag.
THE WHOLE SYSTEM CONSIST OF:-
Main Slag Breaking Machine: The machine breaks irregular shapes of Slag into small pieces of size 25 mm3 approximately
Bucket Conveyor: For automatic transfer of material from Main Slag Breaking Machine to 2nd Slag Crushing Machine.
2nd Slag Milling Machine: The Machine crushes small pieces of Slag further into small grains of sizes 3/4 mm3 .
Bucket Conveyor: For automatic transfer of material from 2nd Slag Milling Machine to Magnetic Scrap Chips Separating Machines.
Magnetic Scrap Chips Separating Machine: Steel Chips and Slag residuals are assorted separately by this machine.
Ball Mill: Removes dust from metal chips separated by Magnetic Scrap Chips Separating Machine. |
